My Big, Brave Boy

I took Noah for his 4 month appointment this morning. He is actually 5 months in just eight days, so I really call this his five month appointment. He weighs 15 lbs. 10 ounces and is 26 inches long. He has gained two pounds and grown three inches in the last two months. Wow, what a growing boy. My pediatrician said he is off the charts on both weight and height, which means is good. I am going to start feeding him cereal tomorrow.
(Just a little inside joke for those of you who don't know how unprepared I was for motherhood the first time. When Laura and I were talking about giving Karis cereal, I asked her if she meant Cheerios! She laughed at me and thought I was joking, but I really wasn't, I had no idea that they made baby cereal! So Laura I promise that even though Noah is a big boy, I will not be feeding him Cheerios just yet!)
I also found out that I have a very brave little boy. When he got his three shots today, he only cried for about half a second after the last one and then started laughing and cooing at me. Where did this child come from, he is nothing like his mom or sister when it comes to shots! I also found out that he has an ear infection in both ears. He had no symptoms and has been very happy the last few days. God is good, and I am thankful for well baby check up, especially when you find out that your baby isn't well at all!

Andrew's first ear infection was also diagnosed at a well baby check-up, he had no symptoms either! Glad to hear that Noah is growing so well and such a happy little boy!

I had started a blog recently(rebeccascott.blogspot.com)as a way for our families to keep up with us, and have just now discovered the wide world of blogging! Do you mind if I add you as a freind?
PS-What a fun swingset!!

We love big baby boys! And the same thing happened with Sam w/ the ear infection thing...I had no idea. Good thing we have to take them to the doctor so often when they are little!
