We found out today that we are having a boy. The ultrasound went great, and Baby boy is very healthy. He had the hiccups most of the time so he was very squirmy. He has a very cute little face, and he gave us a thumbs up. Karis said "look at that frog mommy." She was talking about her little brother's heart. She was very good and is very excited about having a brother.I am very healthy. My blood pressure is great, and somehow, even though my belly is starting to pouch, I haven't gained any weight yet. I think the scales might be wrong!
Any suggestions on names? We know one of his names will be John, after my dad, but we aren't sure about the other name. I pray everyone is having a wonderful day. Thanks for sharing in our joy!

As for names, I have a particular fondness for Maher-shalal-hashbaz, but that may just be a Nash County thing. My sister-in-law has a friend that named her son Oak. That’s much easier to spell. hahhahaha

i can't wait to meet the little boy!! i know you are thrilled and i'm sure justin is as well. names... Beth was going to be Jacob- i'm fond of Sam... but then it'd be you, me, and michelle with Sam's !! you have plenty of time to think about names. i know Justin will think of something..i know, Calvin! wait, isn't that the dog?! you could name him Sproul. or Piper... haha! love you

I am SO happy for you guys and even though we would've loved another little girl-I am SO excited it's a boy! I've always wanted to buy little boy clothes but haven't gotten the oppurtunity to with all of our girls-he can be Papa John's new little golfer! I love the name Carsten....isn't that what ya'll had picked out???

I love the name Ephram (eff-rum). (Not the same as Ephriam in the bible) I am hoping that someday if we have a boy I can convince dallas to name him that....but it doesnt look too promising. I also like Ezra. (I like those different kind of names I guess)

Hi Jeanna. I have been reading your blogs all at once since I am home now with a badly sprained ankle. Got to the It's a Boy and wanted to congratulate you and Justin. I love boys!!! As for names, Blake is still my favorite names. All the Blakes I know are great guys! That's important. I know you all will come up with something great.
