After three years of playing soccer, Karis was on a winning team. Her team not only won more than one game, they were the 7-8 rec league Champions. This was her first season playing up in the 7-8 league, and I have to say, it was the most exciting season yet. The games were much faster paced and so fun to watch. I enjoyed every game and loved watching her learn new things and actually implement them. She also shared this season with her best friend Hannah. It was nice to be on the same side and to see them get to play together and cheer each other on, and for us parents to do the same.
Champion Chariots Spring 2012
Karis learned many things this soccer season the most important was true team play. She improved in passing, dribbling, defending the goal, positioning on the field (when to go to the goal and not stay bunched up), and continuing to try to score. She didn't score any goals this season, but she cheered her teammates on when they did.
A very special thanks to Coach Lou. He did a stellar job with the girls and taught them so much. Thanks for your time and willingness to pour into our girls.
